Addressed to British Embassy at Shanghai No. 45 of March 5th.

My telegram No. 42 of Larch 1st.

Three raids, forty-one aeroplanes, eight bombs dropped on Tinho aerodrome at Canton, seven bombs on Canton-Kowloon highway at Taiping and several bombs in Canion-Hankow Railway area. Thirteen houses damaged and eight casualties.

2. March 2nd, two raids, twenty-seven aeroplanes, twenty- seven bombs in Canton-Hankow Railway area and five bombs on Canton-Samshui Railway, damage slight, three casualties.

5. March 3rd. lwo raids, fifteen aeroplanes, five bombs on Canton-Kowloon highway Tungkoon and thirty-three bombs on Canton-Hankow Railway. Track damaged in several places. Train service suspended for few hours on way. Repairs to track completed yesterday. Seven casualties and four houses damaged.
